Miramar will hold its State of the City Address on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Universal Technical Institute, 2601 SW 145th Ave. The event is hosted by Mayor Wayne Messam.
The city is asking residents to register in advance through an Eventbrite page, MiramarSOTC.eventbrite.com.
The city also highlighted a recent milestone for Miramar Public Works, which said it reached 100% compliance across 261 nationally recognized practices. That achievement made it only the second agency in Broward County to earn American Public Works Association accreditation.
