Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors will be closed to traffic for Wicked Drive on Halloween, and organizers expect more than 40,000 people. The block party runs from Five Points south to 20th Street. Robert Boo, who is involved with the event, called it the largest block party in the southeast United States.

A kids’ costume contest opens the event. Organizers ask that anyone under 21 leave the Drive once the adult portion begins. This year’s theme is “masquerade of mayhem.”

In Wynwood, HalloWYN returns to Wynwood Market Place for its 13th year. Yanet Delcampo said the roughly 30,000-square-foot space will be decorated throughout, with live DJs, photo opportunities, sponsor activations, food trucks and drinks. The costume contest winner will receive $1,000.

HalloWYN is free and runs from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Halloween. An open bar ticket costing $45 covers three hours, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
