A few showers will dampen parts of South Florida Friday evening, and clouds will linger across Miami-Dade and Broward counties. North-northeast winds of 5 to 15 mph are expected, and temperatures are forecast to drop into the low 70s overnight.

Saturday will bring a mix of clouds and sunshine, with a chance of hit-or-miss showers. The rain chance increases Sunday, when off-and-on downpours are possible. The weekend will be breezy, with northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph or higher and gusts reaching 25 to 30 mph.

King tides are likely to cause major saltwater flooding along the east coast Sunday and Monday. The highest water levels are generally expected between 5 and 8 a.m. and again between 5 and 8 p.m. each day, so residents near the coast should plan travel around those windows.
