Crews are repairing a water main break that flooded eastbound Las Olas Boulevard at Coral Way in Fort Lauderdale on Friday. Cameras from 7News captured workers mopping up water along the roadway.
According to officials, the main ruptured Thursday night. Construction crews were digging in the area when the break happened, officials said.
While the repairs are underway, residents in the area may notice low water pressure. The source did not say how long the work would take or when water service would return to normal.
Drivers who use the Las Olas corridor should expect possible delays near Coral Way while crews work.
