A 10-acre estate in Southwest Ranches is on the market for $38.9 million, a price that listing agents say would make it the most expensive residential listing in West Broward. The property at 13920 Stirling Road was once the home of the late singer known as the “Divo de Juárez.”
The main house has five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. A separate three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence sits on the grounds, along with a private clubhouse villa and a spa amenity house.
The land includes private lakes, koi ponds and two swimming pools, one of which has a custom 10-foot rock-jumping wall. Clusia hedges line the property, and a custom lighting system lights the pathways and lakes at night. The grounds also include a professional basketball facility. Plans for the property call for a seven-stall barn and oversized paddocks, with access to miles of riding trails in Southwest Ranches.
The town was incorporated in 2000 to protect its rural and agricultural character and limit urban development. Luxury buyers have increasingly looked there for larger lots and more privacy than are typically available along the coast.
Sunshine Ranches, a community of about 500 homes, includes some of the town’s most exclusive estates. Many of its large compounds have stayed with their original owners, and some are now starting to reach the market.
Angeline Earnest of Coldwell Banker Realty and Tommy Crivello of the Tommy Crivello Real Estate Group are representing the sale.
