The Town of Jupiter’s Historic Resources Board will hold a public hearing on a request to give local historic designation to a single-family house at 358 Center Street. The hearing is set for Monday, Oct. 19, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Complex, 210 Military Trail.

The house dates to about 1931. The application, filed under case number PZ 26-6912, will be heard by the board or as soon as it can be reached on the agenda.

Interested residents may attend and speak for or against the designation. The board will take evidence and arguments on the item at the hearing. The town notice said the item could be postponed or withdrawn without prior notice.

Anyone who plans to appeal a board decision will need a verbatim record of the proceedings, which the town does not provide. Questions can be directed to the Department of Planning and Zoning at (561) 741-2323.
