Boynton Beach officials and project partners held a groundbreaking ceremony on Oct. 6 for Ocean One, a mixed-use development at 114-222 North Federal Highway. The project is being developed by Hyperion Group, Winter Properties, WREP and Silverstein Properties.

The development will include rental apartments and 25,500 square feet of retail space. City officials attended the ceremony along with other guests.

The project received its original site plan approval in March 2023. Construction began in August 2026, according to the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, which estimates completion in late 2028.

For residents and businesses along the Federal Highway corridor, the project means more housing and new storefronts in the city’s downtown area over the next two years.
