Two Miami-Dade businesses are the focus of a recent episode of the Pinecrest Business Association spotlight, hosted by Vanessa Certain, owner of VEC Development.
The program features Anthony Acevedo, owner and executive director of Visiting Angels of Miami, and Lymari Bermudez Madera, franchise owner of Del Toro Insurance. Visiting Angels connects families with independent caregivers who help older adults and people with disabilities at home. Services can include companionship, help with daily routines, personal care and respite for family caregivers. Families can call the Miami office to talk through their situation and learn about the caregiver referral process.
Bermudez Madera works from Del Toro Insurance’s Kendall Lakes office, which handles questions about auto, home, health and business coverage. The episode is presented by Miami’s Community Newspapers as part of its member spotlight series.
