Coral Glades High School’s football team beat Boyd H. Anderson High School 48-32 on Thursday night, its second straight win and its record-improving 4-5 mark for the season.

The Jaguars had finished a suspended game against Boca Raton Community High School on Monday, then kept the offense rolling. McKendrick Thomas scored two touchdowns, raising his season total to 14. Quarterback Channing Casey threw two touchdown passes, one of them to Isaac Hilaire.

Wensley Mombrun and Saadiq King Lyons each added a rushing touchdown. Coverage of the game also credited the offensive line for giving Casey enough time to find his receivers downfield.

Coral Glades returns home for Senior Night against Marjory Stoneman Douglas on Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. The Jaguars beat the Eagles 20-7 in their only meeting last season.
