City of Plantation crews have been deployed across the city to monitor flooding and respond to problem areas after recent heavy rainfall, the city said in a social media post.
City officials said flooding has affected several neighborhoods and that Plantation Acres has been especially hard hit. Residents can find the latest update for the Acres area on the special district’s website, paid.specialdistrict.org.
The Veltri Tennis Center is closed because of flooding. The city expects it to reopen by the end of the week, weather and conditions permitting.
Residents who are experiencing flooding or want to report an affected area should contact the city’s Stormwater Division at 954-797-2282 or AskStormwater@plantation.org. The city asked for continued patience while teams assess conditions.
