The City of Plantation has begun road repairs along southbound East Acre Drive, and the southbound roadway will be closed while crews work, weather permitting. Work started Tuesday, Nov. 3, and is expected to finish Nov. 20.
Crews will work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A detour will be posted during construction.
Driveway access will stay open, and residents will be able to reach their homes at all times. The city said garbage, recycling and bulk collection services are not expected to be affected.
