Ocoee police are searching for John Richard Stafford, an 80-year-old man who went missing after leaving his home near Orlando Avenue around 4:45 p.m. on a black mountain bicycle, according to a police department release.
Stafford was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and khaki pants. Police said he was heading to Bill Breeze Park in Ocoee but never returned home. Investigators said he has shown signs of dementia and is not familiar with the Central Florida area, which has raised concern for his well-being.
Stafford is described as having gray hair and blue eyes. He stands about 5-foot-7 and weighs roughly 170 pounds.
Anyone who sees him or has information about where he might be is asked to call the Ocoee Police Department at (407) 905-3160.
