North Miami residents no longer need to boil their tap water. City officials said water quality testing has been completed and the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted.
The notice followed a water main break on Tuesday near Northeast 114th Street and Biscayne Boulevard. The rupture disrupted service in the area and prompted the city to advise residents to boil water before using it for drinking and other household needs until testing cleared the supply.
Residents in the affected area can now use tap water as usual. The source story did not say how many households were affected or what caused the rupture.
