The City of Miramar is inviting residents to the Miramar Mile Run and Fitness Con on Saturday, Nov. 7. The event is hosted by Commissioner Yvette Colbourne and bills itself as a day of fitness, fun and family-friendly activities.

The schedule starts with a warm-up at 6:30 a.m. The race starts at 7 a.m. at Miramar Boulevard and Civic Center Place. The finish line is at the Ansin Sports Complex, 10801 Miramar Blvd., where the event runs through 8 a.m.

Organizers say the day will include cash prizes and health and fitness zones. Runners can register online at RunSignUp.com under the Miramar Mile Run 2026 page.

The city also shared a training tip for those preparing for the race, urging runners to stick to a regular schedule instead of saving long runs for occasional weekends.
