The City of Deerfield Beach is hosting public informational forums on proposed amendments to the city charter, giving residents a chance to ask questions before Election Day in November.
The third forum is Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. at the Hillsboro Technology Center, 50 Hillsboro Technology Dr. The fourth is Monday, Oct. 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the West Deerfield Community Center, 580 S. Powerline Rd.
City officials say the sessions are meant to explain how the proposed changes could affect the community. Residents can review the amendments in full at dfb.city/charter.
Voters will see the charter questions on their ballots this November, so the forums offer a chance to get details before casting a vote.
