Deerfield Beach holds charter amendment forums Oct. 10 and Oct. 12

Deerfield Beach residents can learn about proposed city charter amendments at two public forums ahead of the November election.

The City of Deerfield Beach is holding two public informational forums this month to review proposed amendments to the city charter before the November election.

The third forum is Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. at the Hillsboro Technology Center, 50 Hillsboro Technology Dr. The fourth is Monday, Oct. 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the West Deerfield Community Center, 580 S. Powerline Rd.

Residents can attend, ask questions and learn how the changes could affect the community. The city encourages voters to review the facts before Election Day.

The proposed amendments are available for review at dfb.city/charter.
