The City of Deerfield Beach will host its annual Floating Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Peggy Noland Aquatics Complex, 501 SE 6th Ave. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon.

Participants swim through the beach entry to pick out a floating pumpkin. A do-it-yourself photo station sits near the entrance for visitors who want a picture of the outing. The event is open to all ages and costs $3 per session.

Sessions run in 45-minute blocks starting at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. Each block is capped at 70 spots, and the city requires pre-registration. People can register by scanning the QR codes on the event flyer or through the city’s online catalog through the parks and recreation registration system.

The aquatics complex will be closed to general public swimming that Saturday, so the pool is reserved for the pumpkin patch.
