Boca Raton volunteer Robin Deyo was named the 2026 Woman Volunteer of the Year at the Junior League of Boca Raton’s 39th annual WVOY luncheon on Thursday. About 900 guests attended, most of them dressed in white so the honorees would stand out.
Deyo was one of 47 women nominated by local nonprofits. She was nominated by the George Snow Scholarship Fund, where she serves as trustee chair. Her program biography lists work with the Junior League, the Boca Raton Historical Society, The Fuller Center and the YMCA of South Palm Beach County, among others.
Maureen Mann, vice president of Boca Regional Hospital’s Lynn Cancer Institute and Lynn Health & Wellness Institute, announced the award. Deyo said she was shocked. She was escorted to the stage in the Boca Raton ballroom, where co-chairs and emcees Linda Paton and Victoria Matthews presented her with a bouquet.
The luncheon honored nominees from across Palm Beach County, including Janet Boczick of 4KIDS and Jessy Allain Mena of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. YMCA CEO Jason Hagensick read all 47 names as nominees lined up on two runways. Sponsors included Florida Atlantic University, the James and Marta Batmasian Family Foundation and The Boca Raton Tribune.
