The Boca Raton Public Library is inviting the public to see “Visions of Color,” a free art exhibit by Alex Williams. The show will run from Dec. 14, 2026, through Jan. 22, 2027, at the Downtown Library, 400 NW 2nd Avenue, during regular library hours.
Williams was born in Jamaica and grew up across the Caribbean, according to the library. He has been making art since 2011, and his work has appeared in private homes and local businesses. He is self-taught.
His inspiration comes largely from the ocean and his love of surfing. Williams works in acrylic on canvas and also makes prints, murals and stickers. He said he starts with a blank canvas and follows where it leads.
The library said the exhibit is open to Florida residents and visitors alike, and it is a chance to see bold shapes and bright colors inspired by the sea.
