The 2026 Veterans’ Walk takes place Saturday, Nov. 7, from 7 to 9 a.m. at Lauderhill Sports Park, 7500 W Oakland Park Blvd. The City of Tamarac’s social media account said State Representative Lisa Dunkley and Commissioner S. “Ray” Martin are hosting the event.
Walkers can register from 6 to 6:30 a.m. The city encourages people to bring their families, form a team and walk in honor of a veteran.
The event is free and open to the public. Organizers also asked residents to register their walk teams ahead of the day.
