Deerfield Beach residents can recycle their leftover Halloween pumpkins and catch a free movie this Friday, Nov. 6, at Quiet Waters Athletic Field. The city’s Mash, Compost and Movie Night starts at 6 p.m. with the gates opening and the pumpkin smash.
The film, The Wild Robot, rated PG, begins at 7 p.m. Admission and popcorn are free, and food trucks will be on site. The field is at 4200 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Attendees are asked to bring blankets or lawn chairs. More information is available at DFB.City/MITP.
