The City of Pompano Beach is asking residents heading to its Drone Show Extravaganza on Saturday, Nov. 7, to plan their travel and arrive early. Live entertainment starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by the drone show at 7 p.m.
Free shuttles will run from Pompano Community Park to the beach. Service begins at 1 p.m., and the last shuttle to the beach leaves at 6 p.m.
Visitors who want to arrive by water can take the Water Taxi along the Intracoastal Waterway. The service is offering a special Drone Show run with limited seating, and tickets must be bought in advance at watertaxi.com.
City officials expect heavy traffic, limited parking and road closures for anyone driving or using rideshare. Residents who want more details can comment on the city’s Instagram post.
