A new shipping and business services center on Pine Island Road is letting mailbox customers drop off packages at any hour. Oh Ship!, at 8267 N. Pine Island Road in the Cypress Commons plaza near the Coral Springs border, announced the 24-hour service this week.
Mailbox holders enter the store lobby with a digital key fob and place packages in a secure locker. The service accepts parcels for the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx, UPS and SpeedX. Customers get an email confirming the deposit, then another the next morning after staff scan the package. Employees move the packages to the correct carrier at its next scheduled pickup.
Owner Keenan Singh said the change is aimed at small-business owners, shift workers and online sellers who cannot easily shop for shipping during regular hours. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The store is a FedEx Authorized Ship Center and UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet, and it is an authorized Vinted Go Shop. It also offers mailbox rentals, printing, notary services, passport photos, fingerprinting, faxing and shredding.
