A Waste Management dump truck overturned on the northbound Florida Turnpike in Davie on Wednesday afternoon, closing the Exit 54 ramp. The exit connects drivers to Interstate 595, State Road 84 and U.S. 441.
Video from 7Skyforce showed the truck resting on its side. Florida Highway Patrol troopers, Florida Department of Transportation Road Rangers and tow crews responded to the scene.
Northbound drivers can use Exit 53 to Griffin Road as a detour. The Florida Highway Patrol said no injuries were reported. The source did not say when the ramp would reopen.
