Chabad Jewish Center of Tamarac, at 8100 N University Drive, is offering a new six-week course on Kabbalah, the mystical tradition of Judaism. The class, called The Kabbalah of You, begins Monday, Nov. 2.

The course was developed by the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute and will look at how Kabbalah applies to relationships, emotions, dreams and personal challenges. Rabbi Kopel Silberberg, the center’s director, will teach the sessions. Topics include the nature of the soul, reincarnation and the spiritual meaning of thoughts and words.

Silberberg said the classes are meant for people with no background in Jewish studies. Sessions run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on six consecutive Mondays. Participants can attend in person or online through Zoom.

Registration is $85 per person or $129 per couple and includes a textbook. In-person sessions include light refreshments. Scholarships are available, and people can attend the first class free before deciding whether to enroll.
