The City of Tamarac is accepting applications for its 2027 Tamarac University class, a program that lets residents see how city government works from the inside.
Participants get a behind-the-scenes look at city departments, facilities and services. The program also gives them a chance to meet elected officials and city staff.
City officials say the program helps residents better understand how municipal operations run, what city employees are responsible for and which services the city provides to the community.
