A 25-year-old Lauderhill man was arrested Oct. 31 on charges of aggravated stalking, lewd or lascivious exhibition in the presence of an elderly person, and a probation violation, according to a Broward Sheriff’s Office arrest report. The man, Malick Isaac Jeantinord, allegedly stalked a 65-year-old Tamarac woman for months.
The woman told investigators that Jeantinord first approached her around June while she worked part-time at a Lauderhill laundromat. He introduced himself as “Issac,” asked her out repeatedly and brought flowers and letters. She turned him down each time, the report said, but he kept showing up during her weekend shifts.
The woman and her daughter contacted deputies on Aug. 29. That same day, the report said, Jeantinord appeared outside her Tamarac apartment building while she unloaded groceries. She told him to leave and said she would call 911 if he returned. A doorbell camera later recorded him lingering outside her door and going through a backpack, according to investigators.
On Oct. 17, the woman said, he told her outside the laundromat that he wanted to have sex with her. She took his photo and he ran off. About an hour later, he returned to her apartment, and a roughly 20-second video she recorded showed him exposing himself, the report said.
On Oct. 31, deputies found Jeantinord in a stairwell near her apartment holding flowers and a bottle of honey. He told them the items were “for her.” In a recorded interview, he admitted exposing himself and said he kept pursuing her because he thought she was playing hard to get. Deputies took him to the BSO Main Jail.
