The City of Plantation will hold its next Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Public Works Compound, 750 NW 91 Ave. The city said the event is usually held on Saturdays, so the weekday date is a change for residents planning to drop off materials.
The collection accepts hard-to-dispose-of household items, including paint, fertilizers, household cleaners and electronics. Residents of Plantation and Sunrise are eligible to take part.
