Staff at Holtz Children’s Hospital in Miami held an early Halloween celebration for young patients on Thursday.
Employees dressed in their favorite costumes and went room to room handing out candy and spooky cheer. The visits gave children who cannot go trick-or-treating a chance to join in the fun while they are in the hospital.
The hospital’s effort came just ahead of the holiday, when many families across Miami-Dade plan their trick-or-treat routes.
