Eight contestants competed in a Elizabeth Holmes lookalike contest at Churchill’s Pub in Miami on Wednesday night. The event was hosted by Miami Moviegoers. Seven of the entrants were women and one was a man.

Most wore black turtlenecks, though a few chose pinstriped suits. Some kept their natural blonde hair, while others wore wigs. Fake red blood vials completed many of the costumes. Audience members collected the vials and Holmes merchandise, including T-shirts.

The contest came five days after the release of “You Can See Everything,” a documentary co-directed by Nathan Fielder and South Florida filmmaker Lance Oppenheim. The film follows the convicted fraudster in the weeks before she began serving her federal prison sentence.

Miami has hosted lookalike contests for other celebrities, including Rauw Alejandro, Bad Bunny, Erling Haaland and Ronaldo Nazário. The Churchill’s event stood out as one of the more offbeat local versions of the trend, according to the Miami New Times, which published a photo gallery of the night.
