A woman was hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a business in Tamarac, according to Tamarac Fire Rescue. The crash happened near Commercial Boulevard and State Road 441, where the rear of a vehicle could be seen protruding from the side of the building.
Fire rescue officials said the driver overcorrected after an apparent two-vehicle crash, which sent the car into the business. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital. Her condition was not known.
Several police cruisers and a fire engine were parked outside the property. Building inspectors were headed to the scene to check the structural integrity of the business.
Drivers in the area should expect delays while crews work at the site. WSVN said it would update the story as more details become available.
