Slash Fitness, a group fitness gym in downtown Delray Beach, is hosting a morning of workouts on Saturday, Oct. 24, with all ticket sales and proceeds going to The Barracks Legend Foundation. The nonprofit works to prevent veteran suicide under the message “from isolation to restoration.”

The Slash Fitness x Barracks Foundation Fitness Social is open to the public. Participants can drop into heated sculpt, barbell and yoga classes or join a group run. Between sessions, local vendors will set up, and the event includes fitness challenges, raffles and prizes.

Tickets cost $20 plus fees. They are available on Eventbrite or at the door.

The foundation says its goal is to host events that move veterans from isolation to celebration and improve mental health. Slash Fitness describes itself as a community-focused gym offering personal training, group classes and strength and conditioning programs for all fitness levels.
