The City of Hollywood is promoting the 70th Annual Hollywood Beach Candy Cane Parade, which will travel down the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.
Dozens of lighted floats and vehicles are scheduled to take part. The city describes the parade as one of the longest-running holiday parades in the country.
The route begins at Missouri Street and heads south to Harrison Street. Organizers encourage families to find a spot along the Broadwalk to watch.
The parade is the city’s signature holiday event at the beach, and this year marks seven decades of the tradition.
