The City of Hollywood is inviting residents to build cardboard boats and race them at Hollywood Marina on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The marina is at 700 Polk St.
In a post on Instagram, the city encouraged people to gather a team, come up with a design and get ready to race. The city said people who want more information can send a direct message to its account with the words “Boat Race.”
The post included a video from last year’s race. The city did not list an admission fee or registration deadline in the post.
