Businesses in Parkland are invited to take part in the Parkland Chamber of Commerce’s annual Light Up the Night holiday celebration, set for Thursday, Dec. 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Shoppes of Parkland, 6991 N. State Road 7. Organizers expect more than 3,000 attendees.

The event, co-presented by the law firm Zimmerman & Frachtman, P.A., offers vendor and sponsorship spots that let local companies show their products and services to families. Vendor Village spaces cost $175, or $150 for Parkland Chamber members. Other sponsorship options are also available.

Entertainment includes live music from Rock Candy Band. This year’s event adds a second youth stage, where students from Westglades Middle School Band, Broadway Bound and Dance Theatre will perform.

Proceeds will benefit Nicklaus Children’s Health System and its work providing medical care for children. Chamber Executive Director Cindy Kaufman said vendor space is limited and encouraged businesses to register early. Details and registration are available at parklandchamber.org/lutn.
