Boynton Beach’s Economic Development Division received two 2026 Excellence in Economic Development Awards from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The awards were presented at the IEDC’s centennial annual conference in New Orleans.
The honors recognize a business resource guide and a promotional video. The city said the guide is designed to help entrepreneurs find support, and the video, titled “Discover Boynton Beach, Florida,” is meant to give prospective investors a reason to take a closer look at the city.
The division supports business growth through business assistance, grants, workforce initiatives and strategic partnerships. City officials framed the awards as added visibility for Boynton Beach in a competitive market.
