Rain and storms are expected to hit already saturated ground across South Florida on Thursday, with 60% coverage forecast for the afternoon and evening, according to WPBF 25 meteorologists. The day starts hot and humid, with scattered storms developing later.

A flood watch covers Indian River, Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Martin counties until 11 p.m. Residents there should be prepared for localized flooding as storms move through.

Friday looks slightly drier, with a dry morning and scattered afternoon storms covering about 40% to 50% of the area. Highs will reach the upper 80s and low 90s.

Saturday brings more scattered rain and storms, driven by tropical moisture from Isaias. Sunday should dry out, with isolated storms near 30% coverage. Forecasters expect mostly dry weather to return for the start of the workweek.
