Residents of Tamarac can meet their local deputies over coffee this Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 to 10 a.m. The City of Tamarac says the event takes place at Krispy Kreme, 4299 W. Commercial Blvd.
The city’s post invites people to stop by and learn more about the Broward Sheriff’s Office, which provides law enforcement services in the city. Attendees can talk directly with the deputies who serve their neighborhoods.
The event is one of several community meetings where residents can ask questions in a relaxed setting. The city’s announcement did not say whether there is a cost to attend.
