A masked Tamarac man threatened to blow up a Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy during a chaotic arrest last week, according to an arrest report.
Adler Telfort, 29, was arrested October 21 on eight charges, including two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, threatening a public servant, carrying a concealed weapon and resisting an officer without violence. Deputies responded to the area of Northwest 71st Avenue and Brookwood Boulevard after a 911 caller reported a man in a ski mask who appeared to be carrying a firearm in his waistband.
