Miramar Mayor Wayne M. Messam is inviting the public to the International Dance Festival on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Miramar Cultural Center Theatre, 2300 Civic Center.
The program includes Konpa and international dance performances and live music by Lucky Plus. The city describes the evening as a celebration of culture and inspiration.
Organizers say the event is meant to support social and cultural dance programs and continued vision care in South Florida and Haiti, under a theme of healing through dance.
Tickets cost $55 to $65 and are sold through Etix. The city’s post lists the ticket link and encourages families and friends to attend.
