Swimmers can return to South Inlet Park, Red Reef Park and Spanish River in Boca Raton. The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County lifted its bacteria advisory for all three beaches, days after health officials warned people to stay out of the water.

The all-clear also applies to Sandoway in Delray Beach, Lake Worth-Kreusler in Palm Beach, and DuBois Lagoon, Carlin Park and Ocean Cay Park in Jupiter. DuBois Park, which was on Tuesday’s original list of nine sites, is not named in the lifting notice.

Tests completed Wednesday, Oct. 21, showed Enterococcus bacteria at an acceptable level under state guidelines. The advisory was first issued after samples taken Monday, Oct. 19, came back above the recreational water quality standard.

Test results are posted at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches. Residents with questions can call 561-671-4013.
