Among the more serious cases, police reported two battery incidents, including one involving a 41-year-old woman on SW 11th Circle on October 13 and another involving an 18-year-old woman in Margate on October 14, which led to an arrest. A 29-year-old woman was the victim of a battery on Parkside Lane on October 14 between about 1:40 and 3:30 p.m., and that case also resulted in an arrest.

Police also arrested a 27-year-old man on a felony drug possession charge at 5398 W. Atlantic Boulevard, near Lakewood Circle, on October 15. A 40-year-old woman was arrested on a felony false imprisonment charge after a reported kidnapping or false imprisonment on Lakeside Drive on October 15.

Property crimes were also reported. A 28-year-old man reported a residential burglary on Winfield Boulevard with an estimated loss of $910, and a 21-year-old man reported a $150 theft at 5365 W. Atlantic Boulevard. The bulletin also lists a $4,500 fraud loss, along with two deaths under investigation and several Baker Act incidents.

Many entries in the bulletin lacked key details. Police did not say what was stolen in several cases, and they did not disclose causes of death or the circumstances of several reports. Residents who want more information on a specific case can contact the Margate Police Department.
