Margate woman arrested after Facebook video led to hit-and-run charges

A Margate woman was arrested Oct. 13 and charged with two counts of leaving the scene of a crash, one involving injuries and one involving property damage, according to Margate Police Department arrest records. Christie Marie Shelton, 53, was identified after a cellphone video of the Sept. 25 crash at State Road 7 and Southgate Boulevard was posted to Facebook.
