The Wick Theatre in Boca Raton is showing the London version of Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein” through Nov. 1. The production opens the theater’s 13th season, with performances scheduled through May 16, 2027.
Founding executive producer Marilynn Wick used her traditional on-stage welcome to announce upcoming events. Singer Tony Orlando will perform two nights only, Jan. 2 and 3, and tickets will go on sale soon. The theater also plans to salute Connie Francis, who lived in Parkland before her death in 2025. Wick noted that Francis’ “Pretty Little Baby” went viral on social media last year.
The next mainstage show is “Oliver!”, running Nov. 19 through Dec. 20. The Wick is also selling tickets for the Fort Lauderdale Ballet and Fort Lauderdale Youth Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” on Nov. 7 and 8.
Other offerings include The Tavern at the Wick, which is holding two Thanksgiving seatings, and the Museum Club, which shows the theater’s Broadway and film costume collection. The current exhibit is “Putting on the Glitz.” The Wick Supper Club will host “No Bad Chords: A Tribute to Mike Renzi” with dinner on Dec. 6.
