Republican Scott Singer and Democrat Jared Moskowitz will face each other in the midterm election for Florida’s newly redrawn House District 25. Singer won his party’s primary, and Moskowitz secured the Democratic nomination.

Singer credited grassroots support across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties for his primary win. He said his campaign will focus on lowering taxes and addressing infrastructure and insurance issues.

Moskowitz said voters want a representative who will work to lower costs and support the middle class. He also said he will oppose antisemitism and hate.

The district now spans parts of three South Florida counties after the state’s redistricting, so voters in the redrawn area will see a new set of choices on the ballot. WPBF published the full local results for the race on Election Day.
