State Representative Lisa Dunkley and District 4 Tamarac Commissioner Dr. Kicia Daniel are hosting a two-part virtual town hall series on Amendment 3 and how it could affect property taxes. The second part is Thursday, Oct. 29, from 7 to 8 p.m.

The city said the same 7 to 8 p.m. time slot applies to both nights of the series. The first session has already taken place, so the Thursday event is the remaining opportunity to take part.

Residents who want to attend must sign up in advance at tinyurl.com/register97. The city’s post did not list a meeting platform or cost, so people should check the registration page for those details.

The session is aimed at homeowners who want a plain explanation of the constitutional amendment and its effect on their tax bills.
