Fort Lauderdale flooded again Friday morning ahead of the first king tide of the day, which was forecast to peak in the afternoon. 7News cameras captured water near Las Olas Boulevard and Coconut Isle Drive, where canal water topped a seawall and pushed up through storm drains.

The worst flooding came Tuesday, when Fort Lauderdale recorded some of the highest tide levels in its history, according to the report. High tides across South Florida were expected to begin around 1 p.m. Friday.

Drivers should avoid flooded roads across the region. Saltwater can get into vehicles and stall them, the station said.

Miami-Dade and Broward counties remain under a coastal flood advisory through Saturday evening. The Florida Keys are under a coastal flood warning through Friday evening.
