The Marjory Stoneman Douglas boys golf team closed its season Monday at the Regional Championship held at Eagle Trace Golf Club.

Matthew Freedland paced the Eagles with a 77 to finish 10th. Josh Anderson shot an 80 and tied for 17th, three strokes behind Freedland. Brody Aucoin, Jack Finnegan and Spencer Kibel also competed for MSD.

The team had a strong regular season, including a third-place finish at the Broward County Athletic Association Championship. The Eagles carried that form into the postseason, taking second place as a team at Districts to qualify for Regionals.
