Coconut Creek residents have a place to take their jack-o’-lanterns once Halloween is over. The city is collecting pumpkins for composting at the Recycling Drop-Off Center at City Hall, 4800 West Copans Road.

The drop-off runs from Oct. 30 through Nov. 15. The center is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The program keeps carved and uncarved pumpkins out of household trash. Residents who carved their pumpkins for the holiday can bring them in the same way, according to the city’s post.
