The Palm Beach County Emergency Operations Center has been running at a level 2 activation since Sunday, Nov. 1, responding to a private aircraft crash and widespread flooding. The county has also declared a State of Local Emergency.

Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a State of Emergency for Palm Beach County on Wednesday, Nov. 4, through Executive Order 26-228. The order covers the flooding.

County officials said they will keep releasing information on both incidents. Residents can get updates at pbc.gov, on the county’s Facebook, Instagram and X accounts under PBCGOV or Palm Beach County, and on PBC-TV Channel 20.

The update does not include new details on the crash or the extent of flood damage, so residents should check the county’s channels for the latest information.
